To Retire or Not to Retire?

Updated: May 20, 2024

To retire or not to retire that is the question? "Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles?" lol you know I had to quote a little Shakespeare. But seriously... thinking about retiring but not sure if your done with work?.. Well did you know Once you hit 67 you can get FULL social security benefits and work as many hours as you want.. Don't believe me check out this out from SSI..

"How much can you earn and still get benefits? If you were born January 2, 1960, or later, then your full retirement age for

retirement insurance benefits is 67. If you work, and are at full retirement age or older, you may keep all of your benefits, no matter how much you earn. If you’re younger than full retirement age, there is a limit to how much you can earn and still receive full Social Security benefits." full details>>>> How Work Affects Your Benefits (ssa.gov)
