Donut Do It Alone: A Day of Connection, Conversation, and Support

On September 22, 2026, SavannahCare brought the community together for Donuts & Discussion: “Donut Do It Alone!” at the Free Library-Haverford Branch in Philadelphia.

The event created a warm and welcoming space where seniors, caregivers, and community members could ask questions and learn more about the support available to them.

With Compassionate Provider Care Agency, the conversation focused on important home-care topics, including companion care, chore services, Medicaid Waivers, and other everyday support options.

Over donuts and coffee, attendees had the opportunity to share concerns, ask questions, and connect with helpful information. The goal was simple: remind everyone that asking for help is okay—and no one has to navigate care and support alone.

More Than a Conversation

“Donut Do It Alone!” was about more than donuts and coffee. It was about building connections, sharing resources, and creating a community where seniors and caregivers feel supported and heard.

SavannahCare continues to create opportunities for meaningful conversations and connections that help individuals better understand their options and access community resources.

Because sometimes, a little help goes a long way. 💗
